Wedding Catering

Congratulations! At iCATER helping a bride and groom create a wedding that captures their personality is what makes us tick.  Whether its a full vegan menu while “glamping” it in a field, by a beach, or a formal full sit down dinner, as a full service off site caterer we will find a way to make it happen.

“I think weddings should be distinctive, stress free and filled with joy. When you choose me to cater your wedding, you are gaining the flexibility and professionalism that comes with 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry” Mark Townsend

We know there is heaps to sort out between starting the 'to do' list and finishing with the 'I do' .  To make things easier we put our years of experience at your disposal to work out the details. Every event is different, so I personally design a solution for each individual couple, in consultation, to best meet your needs and budget. Once we get a few details established we will provide you with a free detailed quote. We encourage you to voice your ideas early, and we promise to do our best to make them come to life. Quotes include a timeline for the day of the event, responsibilities, equipment and hire goods needed, beverage requirements, staffing, agreed menu, event details and costs. We know that sometimes things need to change from the initial discussion and consider this a working document. We are happy to make changes and update as required to ensure the perfect catering solution is put in place for you both.

You can choose what style of menu format you would like. I suggest if there is going to be a period between the ceremony and sitting down for dinner then some canapés, finger food or something as simple as bread and dips to start.

  • Buffet - A buffet dinner can be an excellent alternative to a sit down, plated meal. This option is still traditional, and usually comes in at a lower overall price point than a plated menu. The flexibility and choice offered on a buffet means that the variety of food items can reflect you and your guests taste.
  • Family Style - reflects a large family gathering around the table. Somewhere in between a sit down, plated meal and a buffet dinner, this type of service has options for mains and sides and is brought to you and your guests at the table. Dishes of food are passed among the guests at the table, allowing everyone to take as much or as little as they want. Passing and sharing in this way creates an environment for friends and family to break the ice while they break the bread. A round table or extra wide rectangular table is required with this option to accommodate the bowls and platters.
  • Plated Seated Meal - a seated meal offers structure and formality to your reception. This can be a more traditional form of service and so guests are comfortable in this setting. You can offer your guests a choice of main with your invitation that can be pre-ordered online,  at which time they can inform us of any allergies and food restrictions before the event. Tables can be round, square or rectangular and can be oriented in many different ways seating 6 to 12 at a table.
